First Friday Art Reception: “Recalibration”
FRIDAY 3/6/2026 6 PM TO 9 PM
ART | MUSIC | FOOD | DRINK
Lille Aeske presents its third annual all women exhibition, honoring Women's History Month.
This exhibition gathers artworks that explore the rich themes of Recalibration—to consciously review, adjust, and correct our mindset, priorities, values, and behaviors to better align with our goals, changing circumstances, or a more authentic path to create new beginnings—while offering expansive, personal, and imaginative interpretations of the theme itself. Through diverse artistic voices, the exhibition contemplates the energy our current political world and the enduring cultural resonance looking towards betterment of all.
Together, these works celebrate the arrival of Women's History Month with color, creativity, and optimism, inviting viewers to embrace the momentum of a future poised for transformation.
Lee Dean is originally from Tennessee and nested in Boulder Creek, to work in paint, wire, clay and flowers with the hope of joining in the ages long chemistry of symbol and story making.
Rae Rodriguez is a local Boulder Creek artisan and the heart behind Jester Swink, creating nature-inspired jewelry and wall hangings (jewelry for the walls!) Each one-of-a-kind piece is made with love to spark joy and carry a new story.
Looking forward to seeing you at the show!
